Fragrance-Free Niacinamide Serum
Why sensitive skin gives up on serums

Most serums are scented. This one isn't.

Fragrance is added to most skincare, including serums that stay on your skin all day. The EU's scientific committee estimates that 1 to 3% of Europeans are allergic to some fragrance ingredients, and many more simply find scented products uncomfortable.

This serum has no Parfum, no essential oils and no declared allergens. It's the first fragrance-free product we sell, built around niacinamide, one of the best-studied ingredients in skincare.

The hero ingredient

Niacinamide, and what the studies used

Niacinamide · Vitamin B3 · Nicotinamide

Niacinamide is a form of vitamin B3 and one of the best-studied ingredients in skincare. In a 12-week split-face trial, 5% niacinamide improved the look of fine lines, dark spots, red blotchiness and sallowness against a plain cream. In another study, it raised the skin's own ceramides and lowered water loss.

Our niacinamide percentage isn't published. It's the 8th of 21 ingredients, so we can't promise the same results as a 5% trial. What we can say is that it's there in a meaningful position, in a formula with no fragrance to get in its way.

Niacinamide and ageing skin

Bissett, Oblong & Berge, 2005 · Dermatologic Surgery

50 women applied 5% niacinamide to one half of the face and a plain cream to the other, twice a day for 12 weeks.

Fine lines, dark spots, red blotchiness and sallowness looked better on the niacinamide side, and elasticity improved.

What it doesn't prove

The authors worked for the company that funded it. Our percentage isn't published.

Fragrance-free, and here's what that meansTexture ● ○ ○ · a light, silky cream-serum

No Parfum, no essential oils, and no ingredient from the EU fragrance allergen list. We checked against the expanded list that has applied since 31 July 2026. You may notice a faint natural smell from the raw ingredients; nothing is added to create it or to hide it.

Even fragrance-free products can bother reactive skin. Patch test on your inner forearm once a day for five days before using it on your face.
