A soft, rich cream with organic cocoa and shea butters, sunflower seed oil, sodium PCA and hyaluronic acid, with algae extract and a marine ferment. It sinks in overnight so skin feels plumper and softer in the morning.
Organic cocoa seed butter, shea butter and sunflower seed oil in an organic aloe base. Sodium PCA, glycerin and sodium hyaluronate for hydration. Algae extract and Alteromonas ferment, a marine sugar. Olive oil unsaponifiables and organic watercress and elder extracts. 99% natural origin, 26% organic origin. Contains no collagen.
Every evening, smooth over clean face, neck and décolleté, after any serum. It can also go on in the morning on very dry skin, followed by SPF.

It's called a collagen cream. It contains no collagen.
Collagen is a protein found in skin, and 'collagen creams' are a whole category. But collagen molecules are far too large to soak into skin from a cream, and this formula doesn't contain any: it's vegan.
What it does contain is a rich night-time blend of cocoa butter, shea butter and sunflower seed oil, with hydrators and a marine extract, for skin that feels plumper and softer by morning. We'd rather you bought it for what it is.

Cocoa, shea and sunflower
Organic butters and oil · with a marine algae extract
Cocoa butter and shea butter are rich, stable plant fats that soften skin and slow water loss overnight. Sunflower seed oil, second on the list, is rich in linoleic acid and has a small human study showing it supports the skin barrier.
Around them, sodium PCA, glycerin and hyaluronic acid draw water in, and an algae extract and marine ferment add a light, smoothing film. The butters do most of the work you'll feel.

Sunflower seed oil
In a small study of 19 adults across two groups, one group applied sunflower seed oil to one forearm and olive oil to the other, twice a day for four weeks.
Sunflower seed oil preserved the skin barrier and improved hydration. Olive oil weakened the barrier.

Sodium PCA

76 women aged 30–60 applied 0.1% hyaluronic acid creams around one eye twice a day for 60 days, with a plain cream around the other.

Alteromonas ferment extract
A marine sugar tested on skin cells exposed to UVB, and on volunteers' skin before exposure to fine dust particles.
It reduced UV-linked damage to cell fats, and at 0.02% cut particles sticking to skin by 45% against placebo.
The authors work for a company that makes it. We don't know if our grade is the one tested.
Algae extract
A marine algae extract; the species isn't named on the label.
Algae extracts are used in skincare for a smoothing, film-forming feel.
We found no trial we could match to this ingredient. It doesn't replace collagen.

This cream contains Parfum and vanillin, giving it a floral scent of water lily and white jasmine with a touch of sweet peppermint and vanilla. Two allergens are declared on the label: Terpineol and Linalyl Acetate, both from natural essential oils. It is not a fragrance-free product.
It also contains a wax from the lacquer tree family. If you know you react to that family, or your skin is reactive, patch test on your inner forearm for five days first.
