Organic aloe leaf juice first, then glycerin and organic jojoba oil. Sodium PCA, part of the skin's own natural moisturising factor. Light plant-derived emollients (coco-caprylate, isoamyl laurate, caprylic/capric triglyceride), bush mango kernel butter, a red algae extract and two forms of hyaluronic acid. Vitamin E and ascorbyl palmitate protect the oils.
Morning and evening after cleansing. One pump is enough for the face; add a second for the neck. Let it sink in for a minute before sunscreen or make-up.

When every cream stings, look at what was added.
People with sensitive skin describe stinging, burning or itching from products that shouldn't cause it. Many moisturisers still contain perfume, and fragrance is one of the most common causes of allergy to cosmetics. In a US study of best-selling moisturisers, 45% of those labelled fragrance-free still contained a plant extract or ingredient that can set off a fragrance allergy.
This moisturiser has no Parfum, no essential oils and no ingredient from the EU fragrance allergen list. Its plant ingredients are aloe, jojoba, bush mango butter and a red algae extract, and they're all named below.

Water drawn in, then gently held there
Aloe Barbadensis · Glycerin · Sodium PCA · Simmondsia Chinensis
Dehydrated skin is short of water, not necessarily of oil. Humectants pull water into the skin's outer layer: here that's organic aloe juice, glycerin in second place and sodium PCA, part of the natural moisturising factor your skin makes itself. Jojoba oil and light plant-derived emollients then soften the surface and slow water loss without a heavy film.
It is deliberately short on extras: no fragrance, no essential oils, no strong actives. For skin that reacts easily, that means fewer ingredients known to cause trouble. It can't promise your skin won't react, and no cream can.

Sensitive skin
26 surveys covering 51,783 people in 18 countries.
71% said their skin was sensitive to some degree, and 40% said it was moderately or very sensitive.
Self-reported, and definitions varied between surveys. It says nothing about which products help.
Fragrance allergy
3,119 randomly chosen adults in Germany, Italy, the Netherlands, Portugal and Sweden were patch tested.
1.9% had a fragrance allergy that mattered in daily life. It was about twice as common in women as in men.
Most people aren't allergic to fragrance. Fragrance-free lowers one risk; it can't rule out every reaction.
Glycerin

Aloe vera
20 women used creams with 0.10–0.50% freeze-dried aloe on the forearm daily for two weeks.

76 women aged 30–60 applied 0.1% hyaluronic acid creams around one eye twice a day for 60 days, with a plain cream around the other.

No cream can promise that. It leaves out fragrance, one of the most common causes of reactions to cosmetics, and keeps the formula simple. If your skin does react, stop using it and email us.
We don't claim it does. It contains no ingredient with good evidence for reducing redness. It helps skin feel hydrated and comfortable. If you have redness that doesn't go away, see a doctor: it can be rosacea, which needs its own care.
For normal, combination and dehydrated skin, usually yes. If your skin is dry and flaky, or it's winter, you may prefer our Fragrance-Free Rich Cream, or this one in the morning and the rich cream at night.
It's labelled nut free. It contains bush mango kernel butter and coconut-derived ingredients, none of which is on the EU list of food allergens. If you have a severe nut allergy, show the ingredient list to your doctor first.
