Which face oil is right for you?

We make two face oils. One nourishes; the other carries a retinol alternative. Here's how they differ and which suits your skin.

The short answer
1Choose the Nourishing Facial Oil if your main concern is dryness, tightness or rough, dull-looking skin. 2Choose the Natural Retinol Alternative Oil Serum if you want to target fine lines with bakuchiol, the plant alternative with a human trial against retinol. 3Most people need one. Using both adds little; pick by your main goal. 4Check the nut note. The nourishing oil contains almond and apricot kernel oil; the bakuchiol oil doesn't.

Both of our face oils are organic-certified blends, both go on as the last step of the evening, and both are lightly scented. After that, they're built for different jobs.

02Choose the nourishing oil if

✓You want comfort and softness more than a targeted active.
✓You don't have a tree-nut allergy.

03Choose the bakuchiol oil if

✓Fine lines are your main concern.
✓Retinol irritated your skin and you want a gentler alternative.
✓You want the plant alternative with the strongest human evidence.
✓You have a tree-nut allergy (check the full ingredient list first).

04Can you use both?

You can, but there's little reason to. Both are oils that go on last; layering two oils mostly adds more oil. If you want both nourishment and a retinol alternative, a simpler route is the bakuchiol oil over a good moisturiser, or the nourishing oil with a retinol-alternative serum underneath.
